PHASE 1:
DISCOVERY & DESIGN

The design phase of a remodel is an essential part of the renovation journey, where your dreams begin to take shape and detailed plans are crafted to guide the transformation. Here's a closer look at the key steps involved:

  • Discuss your needs, desires, and budget for the remodel. This step is crucial to understanding your vision and expectations.

Measuring the dimensions of the space, noting architectural features, and identifying any constraints or opportunities.

  • Creating initial design concepts and ideas based on the gathered information. including layout changes, and color schemes.

Analyzing how the space is currently used and identifying any inefficiencies or potential areas for improvement.

Exploring different materials, finishes, and fixtures that align with the homeowner's preferences and budget.

  • Assessing the practicality of the proposed design concepts, including cost estimates, permitting and potential challenges.

PHASE 2:
IMPLEMENTATION

The implementation phase is where the actual construction and physical work start to take place. It's the stage where plans turn into reality. Here's an overview of what typically happens during this phase:

    • Finalizing contracts and agreements with contractors and subcontractors.

    • Securing permits and approvals from local authorities.

    • Preparing the site may include clearing the area and protecting existing structures.

    • Addressing any issues or corrections identified during inspections.

PHASE 3:
FINISHES & DELIVERY

The finishing stage of a remodel is where the space truly starts to come to life. This phase focuses on the final touches that enhance both the functionality and aesthetic appeal of the space. Meanwhile, the delivery phase represents the culmination of the remodel, where the finished space is handed over to the homeowner. Here's a closer look at the key steps involved:

    • Installation of cabinetry, and/ or built in’s.

    • Installing light fixtures, switches, outlets, and appliances.

    • Fitting plumbing fixtures, such as sinks, faucets, and toilets.

    • Adding finishing touches like trim, moldings, and hardware.

    • Completing any necessary exterior improvements, such as stucco, roofing, hurricane windows and doors.

    • Landscaping and addressing outdoor spaces if included in the renovation.

    • Coordinate final inspections with local building authorities to ensure everything is up to code and get the Certificate of Occupancy.

    • Address and resolve any issues.

    • Clean up and remove any construction materials and tools still on site.
